Personal Insights

The film “Mind Wave” deals with the current problems of cybersecurity and personal privacy and the relationship between technology and political control. The story combines individual and social perspectives, making it a nail biting experience for the audience. Because of the short duration of the films, the plot is very tight, but some people would want better characterization.

Cultural Significance

The Second local accent for “Mind Wave” app is that its protagonist is a Chinese-Canadian. In this respect this film highlighting technological issues has some reference to the ‘sword already drawn’ internalization of world politics. It is censorship of the mobile application developed in China by the entire world. The situation is a very contemporary concern, and the theme of “balance between technology and democratic values” must be discussed by every viewer and every citizen of the world across all nations.

By employing a strong practical basis for the future work, the author manages to substantially elaborate on One Belt One Road: a strategy aimed at strengthening China’s ties with other countries by investing in Soviet Union states, undermining their dependence on the West and the United States in particular – the antagonistic democracy theme.
