Deadly Fiancée

Deadly Fiancée

Synopsis

“”Deadly Fiancée” is a gripping domestic thriller about a young girl, Jenny, who witnesses the alarming and concerning strange behavior displayed by her father Frank, when he brings home a new fiancée, an alluring woman by the name of Eliza. Skeptical of her father’s abrupt decision to marry Eliza and ignoring the fact that they were not dating for long, she shares her concerns with her mother, Kayla, who seems to feel the same way. But perhaps Frank has a point: behind Eliza’s dazzling appearance lies an even more charming woman who seems to be flawless, but this is all merely a facade to cover a sinister side that Eliza possesses.

The mystery surrounding Eliza thickens the moment Frank’s business associate mysteriously gets attacked. This boosts Kayla to dig deeper into the matter and investigate Eliza. Through her findings, she discovers lies, deceit, and other forms of manipulation that surround this eccentric woman. When Eliza sets her eyes on Jenny, her lives become intertwined with Frank and Kayla’s who then take it upon themselves to bring down Eliza and in turn protect their daughter.

As one can deduce from the previous sentence, there is also a deeper storyline untapped throughout the film concerning the mystery surrounding Eliza making the movie compelling for viewers while also having conventional thriller themes interwoven throughout the feature.

Personal Insights

As I say, “Deadly Fiancée” – it sounds interesting enough but not one of a kind, let alone groundbreaking, and it falls under the category of a typical mystery thriller. More accurately, it is still entertaining, well acted and kept the ache of attention in such kinks especially Cerina Vincent and Skylar Witte. The movie needs a fair bit of duration to gain speed since at some scenes, the ordering of the events seems a bit off and the dialogue turns out to be too melodramatic though it does arrive with several aspects of nail-biting attraction

On the other hand, the movie is better suited for the fans of fatalities that include thrillers in the style of Lifetime and those that involve intense and gruesome schemes of families being torn apart and satisfying vengeance.s.
